Las Alpujarras a county,
surrounded by Sierra Nevada in the north, the sierras of Lujar, the
Contraviesa and Gador in the high part, with valleys leading to the
Mediterranean in the south.
Natural beauty, gentle climate and
clear waters ruining down from the sierra in little creeks. The soil
is fertile and apart from wine, olive-, orange- and lemon trees
dominate these terraced valleys and gorges.

village of the Spanish peninsula and worldwide known for it's

most visited and most painteresque with outstanding views over the

walking track starting in Athens and terminating in Lisbon) passes
